Jade stood behind the bar. It was an average night--the place was about to bust at the seams. The Twisted Sister was busy, and she was glad she had tonight off from her second job, so she could just enjoy it. She smiled as her eyes scanned the crowd. The music blared, and she leaned against the bar, tending to those not dancing when necessary. Well, I'm not paralyzed but I seem to be struck by you. I wanna make you move Because you're standin' still. If your body matches what your eyes can do, you'll prolly move right through me on my way to you

Damia walked into the bar. The door banged, but most of the people ignored her. Shy Guys came and went all the time on the streets, and so long as she wasn't after one of them, most of the time they didn't bother interfering.
She looked around at the people from behind the mask, each of them with different expressions. Mostly curiosity and fear. She glanced at each one of them before moving on to look for the bartender. The man who had hired her had said she was a blond chick, someone who was a total bitch and "sucked him dry". Not that she was much to look at, at that, according to him.
She strolled up to the bar, still looking. Her eyes kept going back to the bartender. She was blond, but there was no way she was not much to look at. This blond was a bomb. "I'm looking for Jade," she said, keeping her voice flat and disinterested.

She looked at the red Shy Guy, and had this feeling deep in her gut that when the flat female voice asked for 'Jade,' confirmed. She was a target. But, she was a black shy guy. Though out of uniform she couldn't pull rank. Besides, this chick was only doing her job.
"You found her," she said in a tone that was....well, it was the kind of tone you used when telling someone it was raining outside, or what time it was. She dropped her voice to a whisper, though still audible by only the Shy Guy over the music.
"I know why you're here. I got a few good reasons why you shouldn't kill me. But, I at least want to know who sent you."

She leaned forward. Jade was calm, which wasn't a surprise. People tended to react differently to the possibility of imminent death. She just hoped she could take this chick out. Something in her body language said she was stronger than she looked. "I suppose I owe you that much. His name is James. And should you manage to actually stop me, you can look him up. Though you might have to explain to my landlord why I can't pay the bills."

Her gaze stayed the way it was. Focused, yet unyielding. "I wouldn't say I can stop you. But it is safe to say that I know more about your kind than you do." She smirked.
"James...James....James...." she thought it over. "Oh...James. Ex-boyfriend. Worst person I ever dated. And an even worse lay. Always figured he'd take it out on me that he couldn't satisfy..."
She looked at her would-be assassin. "Take him out, and I'll pay you double what my lousy lay of an ex offered."

"Oh, you're one of us. Nothing personal, but I still have to pay the rent."
She nodded, listening to Jade try and figure out who James was. Then she was offered double. "Works for me. So long as I get paid. Plus..." She leaned in a little farther. "I was a little sad that I had to take someone as pretty as you out."

"No, I'm not exactly one of you, Hun. Let's just say I'm a big girl who knows her way around." She winked.
She leaned in, taking the Shy Guy's hand and kissing it. "I'm closin' up around two. If you bring me proof then, I'll have your pay."

She blushed a little and lifted her other hand, brushing it through Jade's hair. "I'm sure I'll be done before then, but I'm sure I can amuse myself until two."

"Just save some for me," she murmured with a wink. She closed her eyes, feeling the other hand in her hair.
She licked her lips. "Or better yet, let me watch? I'll see if I can't swing closing at one. I'll have your coins, as promised. And maybe an added bonus."

She laughed lightly. "Mmm...I promise to save all of it for you if you can manage to be closed by one."

"Oh, the club'll close at one. I won't." She winked. "Now, do me a favor and go take care of business before I have to drag you behind this bar," she said, smirking.

She laughed. "I'll go rip him to shreds. But that's only because I could use the cash. Otherwise I would just let you drag me behind there with you." She straightened up a little. "See you in a bit."

"Fair enough. You're not a Pink, after all. I'll be waiting."
She then went back to work, but she was more focused on the date she'd made for later.
One o'clock in the morning, and the place was empty, though still dimly lit. Jade was cleaning the bar, waiting. She had on the same clothes, but she had her low-cut top pulled down a little lower, and where it usually stopped above her belly-button, it was just below her chest, where she rolled the bottom up. Her black underwear was behind the bar--she didn't need it. Her eyes were locked on the door, and she licked her lips, staring at the clock.

Damia came back, a few minutes after one. She had gotten a little lost trying to find the bar because James had managed to get a good kick to her head. Her head had finally stopped throbbing as she walked up, wrapping on the door. In her hand was a finger with a ring on it that he had always worn.

Jade opened the door, her black skirt, like her top, leaving little to the imagination. She smiled. "Good to see you again." She stepped aside so the Shy Guy could come in.
