Go to Rogueport...Find James Yorkton... The words echoed in her head. A short, balding man had approached her with a job earlier that night. She hadn't been terribly interested, but...Something in his voice compelled her to go ahead and accept.
So now she was sneaking around Rogueport in her red Shy Guy outfit, hammer in hand. She had heard a rumor that he was in an abandoned warehouse, which she was creeping into now.
An older gentleman sat, looking over something on a computer. She saw what looked like names, but she couldn't begin to make any of them out.

Jade looked through the window, in her black Shy Guy outfit. She was perched outside, unaware of the red with the same target. She was alone tonight, but she couldn't blame the others for not wanting this one. The target was a white--a traitor, but still a white. And every time a black suited up for an Elimination, their job was on the line, as was their life. Though for a Shy Guy, those were one and the same.
Athletically, she made her way silently up to the roof, dropping in through the skylight, and landing softly on her feet on some old crate. Each hand was on a beamsword. Costume or not, this was her most dangerous target yet.

James continued to tap on the computer. Damia saw something out of the corner of her eyes. She spun, tensing up, squinting in the darkness. She could barely see the outline of a black Shy Guy, the glint of her swords.
Interesting. Swords...Not as cool as a hammer, but still works. She smiled to herself and started slinking towards the guy, then stopped. Wait...Why was a Black after her target too??? What had this guy done? And...if a Black was after him...just how powerful was he?

Jade saw the red, apparently hired to go after her target. Actually, it helped. She needed the cloak, usually that was all she needed. But this guy...He was a white, meaning he knew more than a few Shy Guy identities. And he intended to sell them. So, he needed to die, making this job harder.
Until she saw the assassin, that is. Two was still a small number, but with the experience of a red...
Sure James wasn't looking, she signaled to the red. Her motions said, "You go right, I'll go left." Then, she moved into position.

Damia frowned, nodding. She started moving off to the right. Something was seriously going wrong here, but she didn't have a clue. She only knew that the best way to survive was to follow the Black's orders. She was more experienced and probably understood tactics better than the demi-goddess.

Jade had her sabers drawn, but not on. The light would give them away. She approached, and soon they were only a few feet away. She counted to the red on her fingers, signaling when to go. 'One...two....three...' She gave a nod and flicked on her sabers, instantly springing to action.

James had seen the flash of light off of what seemed to be a rather large object...possibly a hammer, but he acted like he hadn't noticed at all. At least, not until he was sure the person was going to attack was going to attack.
Then he stood up, spinning and sent a blast of energy from his palm at the attacker. A Red. How pathetic, sending just a red after him. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the Black's sabers turn on. So...they had sent two after him. That meant that there were more, most likely. If the other Shys were smart, there were, at least. He sent a blast at the Black this time, leaning back to avoid her attacks.

Damn, he saw them. Obviously, the red wasn't used to stealth missions, but that was understandable. She struck with the sabers, but he dodged. Suddenly, she vanished in a puff of sweet-smelling pink smoke, then appeared behind him, attempting a backhand with her sword, followed by a stab with the other.

Damia stumbled back, having taken the blast in the stomach. She coughed and blinked when the Black disappeared. Had she just abandoned her? What a...Oh.
The man appeared just as startled. He seemed to almost blur right as the Black hit. At first, Damia thought she had struck and was about to call out when he fully blurred out and seem to move so fast she could only see a bluish blur. He stopped behind her, sending a rather large blast of energy at the Black's back.

Jade blinked, then screamed in pain. She was flung into the wall, then slumped over, a hole burned into her cloak, and her back was burnt and smoking. The blast had knocked her hood loose, and it sort of just hung there, revealing her blond hair, and pretty yet agonized green eyes. They closed and she shuddered.

Damia tried to stand, leaning on her hammer for support. She picked it up, and looked at the Black. He calmly walked over and yanked her hood off. "Oh, now isn't she a pretty thing? Well, was, at least. Too bad for her." "No..." she whispered. "No! You bastard! You killed her!" She growled and struck at him, but he saw her attack coming and sent her flying back without even using much power. He laughed.
"You don't know who you're facing, hon. Do you?"
She staggered back, gripping her sword. "I'm facing a bastard who just...just attacked my girlfriend."
"Aww, how sweet. Maybe I should just go ahead and finish her off, then. Make the pain go away."
"No!" With that she ran towards him, but instead of attacking, she jumped up high in the air. She slammed the hammer down, splitting the earth open. He fell but managed to clutch the edge and pulled himself up before the earth closed on him.
She shuddered. "No..." She licked her lips as James calmly walked towards Jade again. She tried to follow him, but her legs buckled. She felt so weak. He pulled up a ball of energy and pointed his hand at Jade's head. Tears rolled down her eyes as the hammer slipped from her hand. It fell to the side as she propped herself up with her hands. She started murmuring in Nordic.
"Watch, now, child. As you see your fate."
Suddenly, though, she stood up. She was holding a larger hammer that seemed to be radiating energy. "No. You look. Look upon the face of the killer, because it is the last thing you will ever see..." Her voice seemed to come from everywhere at once as she tugged her hood off. Her eyes were glowing as she stepped towards him.
His eyes widened a little. "What? Is that...What I think it is?"
"Thor's Hammer, yes. And only one of his blood can wield it. You should have known who you were messing with before you decided to attack me. I will not show you any mercy."
With that, she swept the hammer up and swung it to the side, a bolt of lightning flying from it. He was thrown against the wall and electrocuted. He fell to the ground, his body smoking.
She shuddered as the hammer fell from her hands. A flash of lightning appeared in the room, lighting it up brightly. She looked at the man who slowly began to appear, swaying on her feet. He calmly walked over. "So, child. You have taken my hammer for your own purpose. Did I not warn you about doing that?" The hammer seemed to fly to his hand. "Its powers are stronger than a mere half-mortal can handle. But it seems you need a reminder of them." He raised it and slammed it into her, knocking her into the wall as electricity shot through her. She coughed, laying on the ground.
He walked over and lifted her head by her hair. "Be glad you are my spawn, Child. Otherwise you would have been dead." He dropped her and disappeared in the same way he had appeared as the world around her darkened.

Her eyes stayed closed, but she heard everything. That voice...and...that other voice...both sounding so familiar. Then, the female voice hit her. Damia? She tried to speak, but it was no use, all that came out was a groan, and it hurt.
The other....Thor. Could it....really? She shuddered again, breath short and gasping.

Damia heard someone groan. She tried to open her eyes, tried to move towards the sound. Her body felt so weak, she could barely move. Her entire body was shaking. She licked her lips, trying to speak. "Jjjjj..." she managed to get out.

Jade coughed, then groaned from the pain it caused. "Duh...da..." she sputtered, but it was no use. So for now, she just lay there.
